About our jewellery
Where is your jewellery made?
All of our jewellery is handcrafted by us from start to finish at our studio in Canada, guaranteeing high quality. When we say our products are “handmade with love” we truly mean it.
What materials do you use?
We use high quality natural materials to make our jewellery, such as Baltic amber, sterling silver, and natural silk. We prioritize sourcing our supplies and raw materials from other small businesses.
Our amber is sourced from Latvia and Lithuania from certified suppliers. As each piece of Baltic amber is unique and tells its own story, expect variations between size and colour.
How can I find my size?
Each product page features a "Find your perfect fit" section that has details about the product's sizing.
Note: All our products are handmade, so some slight variations in sizes and fit are to be expected.

What are the care instructions?
Due to the delicate nature of handmade jewellery, some extra care is needed to ensure your jewellery's longevity.
Amber
Amber is a natural gemstone that is fragile. Please do not knock your jewellery against any hard objects, or use any sharp objects to pierce the amber, as that could cause it to crack and fall off the bracelet.
Sterling silver
Sterling silver is made to be worn daily and can withstand some exposure to water. To ensure your jewellery lasts as long as possible, store it in a cool and dry place away from sunlight and any sources of heat, and avoid any exposure to chemicals.
While sterling silver will not rust, it may temporarily tarnish over time due to certain gases in the air. To avoid tarnishing, wear your sterling silver jewellery often. If any tarnishing occurs, clean it with a soft polishing cloth regularly.
Silk bracelets
On our adjustable silk bracelets, the sterling silver clasp bead that makes the bracelet adjustable can over time wear out the natural silk thread. As such, it's recommended to keep the bracelet on once it's been put on, instead of taking it on and off every day.
If the strings ever get a bit tangled or bent, they can easily be straightened out by dampening the thread until it's straight again. As it is made from natural silk, make sure to keep it safe from paints and dyes so that it does not get discoloured.

Where can I buy your jewellery?

We're looking to work with boutique shops, especially across Canada and Europe, so please get in touch if you'd like to stock our jewellery or have recommendations of shops you'd love to see our products in.
What type of packaging do you use?
In order to minimize waste, we package our bracelets on small cards made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper that can be easily recycled again.
Online orders are packed in small paper boxes lined with tissue paper or kraft mailers with bubble wrap that protects the product in-transit. Pick-up orders are packed in kraft paper envelopes to reduce plastic usage.
We appreciate it when customers either reuse or recycle the packaging they receive.
How will I get my order?
Shipping: All shipping options are displayed at check-out and are dependent on your delivery location.
You will receive an email notification when your order has been packaged and shipped out. The delivery timeline will depend on your delivery location and the shipping service chosen.
Pick-up: We keep our pick-up options up-to-date on our shipping page with the cities and dates when we can accommodate a free pick-up. Details will be discussed directly with the customers that choose this option, when it is available.
What is your return policy?
As a small business operating from a tiny studio, we are currently unable to facilitate returns. However, in the off chance that the product you receive is found to be defective or damaged, please reach out to us at info@ausma.shop or use our contact form as soon as possible and we'll make it right.
